The Jersey City Public Schools has partnered with the Jersey City Public Library to create an outreach program to allow students to obtain a library card or renew their existing one. Library cards must be in use to remain activated. If a student has had a fine in the past or did not return a book, those fines and book returns will be waived.

Before care in the JCPS is called Morning STARS and starts from 7am.
After care is CASPER, which starts at dismissal and goes until 6pm for students Pre-K through Grade 5.
